Rugby Tours

Description:

We are a very passionate Rugby Mad Country

and there is few places in the World to experience

a Rugby game with such amazing atmosphere

and enjoyment as we do here in South Africa

.
Our National Team representing South Africa

is called the "SPRINGBOKS".

.
The History of the Springboks

go back to their first ever Test Match

in 30th July 1891 playing against The British Isles.

.
South Africa is also home to The Worlds Oldest

Domestic Rugby Tournament still active

called the "Currie Cup"

that dates back to its origins of 1884

when it started as an Inter-Province Competition.

.
The SPRINGBOKS have won the Rugby World Cup

a record Three times and are even

with New Zealand's "All Blacks" Team,

Australia follow with two Wins and England with one.

Springboks also hold the Record for achieving 3 World Cup

Titles in the Fewest World Cups Played making them the most

successful Team in Rugby World Cup History.

They are Currently the World Champions

and also Ranked Number One on the IRB World Rankings.

The Most Famous Victory of them being the Historical
1995 Rugby World Cup win against all odds,
beating possible the best ever New Zealand Team ever fielded and lifting the Cup with the president then Nelson Mandela.

This Moment in Rugby greatest History became one of the most Inspirational and World iconical History Moments.
So much that a movie was made about it called "Invictus'
staring Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman.
A Must Watch if you have never seen it.

New Zealand's "ALL BLACKS" are still considered the Best Performance Rugby Team in all Rugby History and are in  no doubt SOUTH AFRICA's biggest Rugby Rivals

Apart from the New Zealand All Blacks,
The Springboks have another Gigantic Rival that is
excluded from World Cups with some of the most Historical Test Matches ever played between them and South Africa

A Team representing 4 Strong Rugby Countries
Playing together as one.

They are Called

The British and Irish Lions

The Best of the Best Players Picked from
"England, Wales, Ireland & Scotland"
Since 1888

This Team only modernly come together every 4 years
and plays against the 3 Strongest Rugby Nations
from the Southern Hemisphere..

The "All Blacks, Australia's "Wallabies
and the "Springboks"

Previous years included playing the "Pumas" from Argentina

They Play South Africa's SPRINGBOKS only every 12 years
